    While IT is managed out of Columbus, OH, this position may be staffed at Eatontown, NJ, Cherry Hill, NJ, or Columbus, OH.


    The IT Business Relationship Senior Manager for Sales & Marketing will partner with the senior leaders in the supported domains to ensure that the IT Portfolio (projects and systems) aligns to and enhances the business strategy of these functional units.  The functional units supported, include:  Sales & Marketing, Government Pricing, Sales Analytics and Customer Operations. 


    The incumbent is Responsible for both the existing IT solution suite as well as IT Portfolio of projects within these domains, including:

    • Order to Cash Solutions within SAP
    • Vistex solution for Contracts & Chargebacks
    • iContracts solution for Government Pricing
    • CRM

    The primary responsibilities of the position include:

    1. Portfolio, Project and Program Management
    2. Lead, coach mentor the team
    3. Domain Architecture
    4. Stakeholder / Relationship Management

    This position reports directly to US Head of IT and is a key member of the IT leadership team.  This position has direct reports and will be counted upon for developing team, ensuring that the makeup of the team and competencies of the team are in line with IT global strategic direction


    Portfolio, Project and Program Management

    • Aligns with PMO, business functions, IT team on the portfolio of programs, projects, and applications, and ensures budgets are aligned, resources aligned, etc.
    • Oversees resources and resource management as well as budgeting for projects


    • Mentors, leads, coaches and develops employees; manages and addresses performance issues; and makes hiring, firing and compensation decisions to ensure individual and organizational performance currently and in the future.
    • Communicates site/department goals, expectations and performance to staff.
    • Sets goals and expectations for staff with their input
    • Ensures conditions (time, equipment, etc) necessary for staff performance are met and barriers to performance are removed.
    • Measures direct reports' performance and contributions to team performance and provides feedback.
    • Collaborates with direct reports to identify and enable their skill and knowledge development.
    • Rewards and recognizes staff and team performance to build engagement.
    • Ensures direct report positions are filled timely with the best qualified candidate(s)

    Domain Architect

    • Through active consulting with the business and IT, ensures functional roadmaps exist in areas of support and that these are directly tied to the Portfolio.
    • Develops and manages executable roadmaps within Sales & Marketing (OTC, CRM, etc.) applications

    Stakeholder / Relationship Management

    • Influences and partners with business leaders to manage and align the IT portfolio. Closely collaborates with Global IT and external partners to ensure adequate and timely delivery of agreed services.

    • Bachelor’s degree preferably in information technology/services or other technical field.  Any combination of experience in IT project management, SAP OTC, CRM implementations and/or other IT-related work will be considered In lieu of degree.
    • 10+ Years of IT experience in the functional domain of Sales & Marketing, preferably as in-house role as well as consultative experience.
    • Expertise in Order to Cash processes within SAP ECC and S4/Hana.
    • Experience leading and managing teams in a multi-location environment.
    • Experience in Life Sciences (preferably Generic Pharmaceuticals) or similar regulated industry.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to effectively communicate, analyze, and problem solve.
    • Extensive experience as an implementing and supporting SAP services.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Good influencing skills across organization (senior executives to end users) as well as internal IT team members.
    • People and project management skills.
    • Change champion.
    • Must be flexible to travel.
    • Must be able to balance strategy with reality.
    • Business Acumen: understand the business functions supported.
