  • Overview

    Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of HR programs and policies in support of business needs.  Provides employee relations, Manage all recruiting to site organizations.

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with site functional organizations in the development of programs or projects to support site manufacturing goals or related business issues.
    • Manages HR Training to support established programs as well as the research and development of programs to meet future site technical and regulatory needs.
    • Manage hiring activities (internal and external) at the site.
    • Provides coaching and counseling to management team to effectively support their organizations.
    • Provides counsel to management on complex employee relations issues, investigates concerns raised by employees or management and initiates action as required.
    • Administers site programs and policies authorizing, revising and/or providing clarification.
    • Provides direction on local implementation of organization-wide HR policies and programs.
    • Provides support to HR Director required to meet corporate and site Human Resources goals and objectives.
    • Provide employee support across a three shift manufaturing operation.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required. Seven (7) plus years Human Resources experience, at least 5 years in a generalist role.

    • Ability to develop a plan of action and implement. Ability to influence and persuade appropriately to drive change.
    • Promote teamwork through involvement and communication.
    • Able to manage relationships through understanding of environment and needs.
    • Excellent analytical and process management skills with strong business acumen.
